About the Chapel

Rising at the northernmost point of the community, its 68-foot, simple bell tower soaring above the trees, it is the highest building in Seaside--a beacon inviting believers of all faiths to gather together for religious services.  Dedicated October 20, 2001, with its traditional center aisle configuration, board and batten wooden construction, heart pine floors, white walls and Carpenter Gothic design, the Chapel is clearly a house of worship, though without symbol of a single religion or denomination.  The steep, pitched metal roof rises 50 feet to create a space for worship.  Its bell tolls prior to worship and special events, welcoming believers of all faiths to worship within its walls, from dawn to dusk each day.
